How to Check NSFAS Application Status for 2023-2024
In order to check NSFAS Application Status for 2023, you must follow the simple steps below:
- Visit NSFAS Status website: www.nsfas.org.za
- Then, login to myNSFAS account, if you don’t have one, create one. Click HERE
- Enter your User ID
- Type in the password you created during the application process.
- Click “Track Funding Progress” to check your NSFAS Application Status 2024
TVET Colleges NSFAS Application 2024-2025
The NSFAS applications system for 2023 will likely open from 28 September 2023 to 31 January 2024 when the National Senior Certificate results are out. Application for NSFAS 2024-2025
Documents Needed for NSFAS Application 2024-2025
All prospective applicants must have the following required supporting documents:
- Applicants’ ID document/card or birth certificate
- Parents/ guardian/ spouse ID (or death certificate where applicable)
- Applicants’ proof of income (if applicable and should not be older than 3 months)
- Parents/ guardian/ spouse pay advice/ letter of employment/ pension advice stating income (if applicable and should not be older than 3 months.
- Vulnerable children must provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration Form.
- Applicants with a disability must provide a Disability Annexure A Form
- SASSA slips are not required and SASSA should not be included as a household income.
Applicants are urged to apply for NSFAS and University or TVET college admission for 2024 at the same time.
How to Apply for NSFAS Application Online Form 2024-2025
If you want to apply for NSFAS online application form for 2024, follow the simple steps below:
- Go to the NSFAS website: www.nsfas.org.za online
- Then click on myNSFAS at the top-right menu of the page
- Create myNSFAS account. To create my NSFAS account, click HERE
- After that, click on “Apply” to start the application process
- Update all personal details (cellphone number, email address)
- Then, upload all your supporting documents
- Complete all the required fields in full. If your application is not complete, you will not be able to continue with the next stage
- Submit your application online.
How to Re-Apply and Register for NSFAS Application 2024-2025
Applicants must Apply and Register online on the myNSFAS portal for 2024 as a user or Re-register a myNSFAS account. To do so, follow the steps outlined below:
- Applicants should visit NSFAS website: www.nsfas.org.za
- On the NSFAS webpage, click on the “myNSFAS” tab at the top right corner of the page
- myNSFAS page will be open with a welcome message ” Welcome to the myNSFAS student portal”
- If you wish to Re-register your myNSFAS account, enter your username (i.e. your email address) and password
- And if you want to Register, please click on “Register”. Please ensure that you have a valid copy of your South African ID or unbridged birth certificate copy before you register your profile.
- Tick the box to allow NSFAS to verify and validate the information you have provided with third parties
- Then, enter your ID number on the field as it is stated on your ID document
- Type your full name and surname as per your ID number in the space provided
- Enter your current email address
- Verify your email address
- Ensure that you enter your cellphone number
- Create your preferred password
- Then you Confirm the password
- Upload a copy of your ID document
- After that, kindly click on register to receive a one-time pin
- A One Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to the email address and the cellphone number you provided (this OTP will expire after 24 hours)
- Type in the OTP and click submit
- Finally, you have now completed your NSFAS Registration for 2023
