NSFAS Account Login 2024-2025: myNSFAS login
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) Online Application for the 2024-2025 Academic year opens on 28 September and closes on 31 January 2024. Therefore, applicants who want to be funded by NSFAS Bursary should apply by creating NSFAS Account and login to myNSFAS for more application details. Visit www.nsfas.org.za
How to Create NSFAS Account and Login for the 2024 Application
If you wish to create an NSFAS account, follow these quick steps to create a myNSFAS profile:
- Please visit www.nsfas.org.za online using a computer or smartphone
- On the NSFAS page, click on myNSFAS at the top right of the menu
- myNSFAS page will open for you with a welcome message “Welcome to the myNSFAS student portal”
- Then, click on “Register“
- Make sure you have your required supporting document i.e, ID number or birth certificate, cellphone number, and email address
- Complete the required fields with your (ID number, cellphone number, and email address)
- Upload a copy of your ID or birth certificate. If you are uploading a copy of a Smart-ID, please ensure that both sides are visible on the copy
A One Time Pin to activate the account will be sent to the contact number you submitted. Once you have created a myNSFAS profile, You will then be able to apply online for NSFAS 2024

How to Login to your NSFAS Account
Follow the step-by-step below to access or login into your myNSFAS Account:
- Go to myNSFAS account website at www.nsfas.org.za
- Click on “myNSFAS”
- Enter your username and password in the field provided
- Then, click on the “My Personal Details” tab
- Update your cellphone number and email address to your current one
- Click “Update your details” to proceed
- A One Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to the new number and email address you provided.
- Enter the OTP and click submit.
- Your details will immediately be updated.
Please Note: If you’re an applicant with an existing account, you can sign in using your usernames and password or Facebook and Google accounts
