The Tshwane University of Technology, TUT Application opening, and closing dates are available on the TUT website: www.tut.ac.za. The closing date for all applications, which should be submitted with the required administration fee, is 30 September of the preceding year of study in the case of year qualifications and qualifications commencing in the first 1 semester.

You must meet the following minimum general admission requirements listed below;
- Admission requirements of individual programmes could change every year so all prospective students must take note of that.
- All applicants must pass English at Senior Certificate level, i.e. a minimum additional language; certain programmes will be needed first or home language status.
- Every programme has its own specific admission requirements.
- Students will be asked to write an admission test for some programmes to determine whether or not they will be admitted to the programme or whether it will be appropriate for them to register for a relevant foundation course.
