The college has six campuses located in the Cape Town area, namely Westlake, Fish Hoek, Khayelitsha, Mitchell’s Plain, Muizenberg, and Mowbray.

False Bay TVET College offers vocational, occupational, and skills training courses that equip students with in-demand knowledge and abilities as well as hands-on experience in occupations with promising employment prospects. The appropriate organizations have accredited all College programs.

The College has a special focus on apprenticeship training in the following trades: Electrical, Motor Mechanics, Welding and Fabrication, Fitting and Turning, Automotive Body Repair, Spraypainting, Civil Construction, Carpentry and Joinery, Yacht and Boatbuilding, Mechanical Fitting, and Rigging.

Entry Requirements NCV:

  • A year-end school report for grade 9 (pass) or higher;
  • or NQF Level 1 Qualification;
  • or an abridged programme designed for the specific purpose to access NQF Level 2;
  • or recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirements

Entry Requirements NATED:

Minimum entrance requirements are aligned with the Report 191 programme requirements. Students must have passed:
