One of the well-known TVET colleges in the Kwazulu-Natal province of South Africa is Coastal TVET College. The college will begin accepting new applications on September 1st, 2023, and it will close on September 30th, 2023. The catchment region for the Coastal KZN TVET College stretches for around 80 km towards the South Coast from Ozwathini to the South of Durban. It includes Maphumulo, Stanger, Ndwedwe, the Bluff area, Chatsworth, Lamontville, Umlazi, KwaMakhutha, Isipingo, Amanzimtoti, Illovo right down to Scottburgh, but due to the residence facilities, we have students from all over the country.
The College’s central administrative office is located in the semi-rural community of KwaMakhutha. This college is well known for serving adult learners, unemployed people working for local businesses while unemployed, young adults not currently enrolled in school, and project-linked trainees, who can range from students with poor academic backgrounds to those who have had the opportunity to raise their educational level. Through innovation and the provision of relevant programs, the college is putting itself in a position to be able to take the lead in addressing the socioeconomic demands of the larger community.
