TUT Online Application Opening Date for Second Semester 2025-2026

Applications to the Tshwane University of Technology for the 2025-2026 academic year open on 1st April 2024. Student applicants cannot apply before the TUT application is opened.

International Applicants: The R500 confirmation fee needs to be paid R1000 upon registration.

TUT Online Application Requirements for Second Semester 2025-2026

A person cannot be registered as a student in a TUT program unless they have fulfilled the following requirements;

General Admission Criteria for TUT:

  • A minimum pass in English at a Senior Certificate level either as an additional language or for certain programs. as a first or home language.
  • Each course has its own set of specific admission criteria.
  • Prospective students should be aware that the admission requirements for individual programs may vary annually.
  • some programs may require students to take an admission test. the results of this test will determine admission to the program or recommend ina relevant foundation course.
