  • Economic Management Sciences:

Economics and Business are the heartbeats of any nation and offer industries that give you many opportunities to grow and apply your trade to better your future and the nation’s growth.

  • Electrical Engineering:

The NATED N4-N6 Engineering qualification is designed to provide the theoretical component for you to attain a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering. The practical component comprises 24 months (2000 working hours) of work experience relevant to your trade.

The Department of Higher Education will issue you with a National Certificate once you have passed each level eg. N4, N5, N6. After completing your work experience you can apply for your National Diploma from the DHET at the campus where you have completed your N6 qualification.

  • Engineering & Related Design:

Mechanical Engineering Studies consists of challenging activities that require original thought, sound judgement and absolute discretion. This practical study area provides for a wide range of occupations in Mechanics.

  • Hospitality, Tourism & Sport:

REPORT 191 (N4-N6) COURSES OFFERED AT BOLAND TVET COLLEGE

The National N4 – N6 programmes are aimed at post-matric students. The courses are aimed at encouraging self-employment and developing students for the practical component of the work environment.

The above-mentioned courses lead to a National N-Diploma. After completing N6 theory in the classroom situation, students need to acquire 18 months of relevant, practical work experience, after which they may apply for the National N-Diploma.

The National Certificate: Vocational or NC (V) is an alternative option and equivalent to a Matric Certificate. Programmes are aimed at developing students in a certain specialisation with practical skills and knowledge that leads to a strong career pathway. Offered at Levels 2, 3 and 4 of the National Qualifications’ Frame Work which is equivalent to Grades 10, 11 and 12.
