HOW TO APPLY ONLINE AT TUT ADMISSION 2024-2025

When applying to Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) for 2024, please keep in mind the admission criteria for any program or qualification you wish to pursue. Please review the Prospectus for each Faculty to ensure that you meet the admission criteria for your chosen field of study.

Required Supporting Documents for TUT Online Application 2024

The following verified copies of your support should be attached to your application in order to be able to apply online at TUT for the 2024-2025 academic year:

Senior Certificate/National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification is required for the certificate, diploma, and degree studies.
All applicants for B Tech and Postgraduate Studies must provide official proof of completion of all diploma or degree requirements.
Applicants must present identification documents.
Academic record from another institution that demonstrates your achievement in terms of studies.

All students should apply for each academic year within the online application period and must make the required initial payment of the application fee of R240.

Before you proceed to TUT Application for 2024, make sure that you meet the following minimum general admission requirements listed below;

Admission requirements of individual programmes could change every year so all prospective students must take note of that.
All applicants must pass English at Senior Certificate level, i.e. a minimum additional language; certain programmes will be needed first or home language status.
Every programme has its own specific admission requirements.
Students will be asked to write an admission test for some programmes to determine whether or not they will be admitted to the programme or whether it will be appropriate for them to register for a relevant foundation course.
