Applications to the Tshwane University of Technology for the 2025-2026 academic year open on March 2024 excluding international applications on specific programmes. Student applicants cannot apply before the TUT application is opened.

Minimum general admission requirements for study at TUT
No person may be registered as a student in a programme of TUT unless he or she has complied with the following;

- A minimum pass in English at a Senior Certificate level either as an additional language or for certain programs. as a first or home language.
