Ehlanzeni College offers a variety of vocational and occupational programmes, i.e
- National Certificate Vocational NC(V) levels 2 – 4 include theory, simulated practical training and work exposure (each level is a one-year programme with a national certificate at the end of each year)
- Report 191 (NATED) programmes (semester and trimester)
- Occupational Programmes (Learnerships, skills programmes and QCTO qualifications)
Accreditation
The programmes presented at Ehlanzeni TVET College are accredited by the following Quality Councils:
- Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training (UMALUSI) for the National Certificate Vocational (NCV) and Report 191 (N1 – N3)
- The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO)/ Sector Education & Training Authorities(SETAs) for Report 191 N4 – N6, Learnerships, Skills Programmes and National Certificates for occupational programmes.
- A year-
end school report for Gr 11 or Gr 12 certificate; or - An NQF Level 1 qualification; or
- An approved bridging program designed for the specific purpose of accessing NQF Level 2; or
- A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirements for access to NQF Level 2
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS REPORT 191
- Candidates must have a Grade 12 (NSC)
- New students must enrol for all 4 subjects in the particular field
- The number of enrolments in these programmes is subject to the approved DHET prescripts targets
- Students who may enrol for N4-N6 programmes must comply with the required number of working hours in the relevant field of the industry before a National Diploma will be issued (18 months / 2000 hours for semester programmes and 24 months / 2670 hours for trimester programmes).
