How to Check NSFAS Status for TUT 2024

All those who would lіkе to сhесk thе ѕtаtuѕ of NSFAS Application 2022 should follow the steps below:

  • Vіѕіt the NSFAS website.
  • Clісk оn MyNSFAS ассоunt
  • Login with your ID and thе password уоu сrеаtеd durіng уоur application.
  • Select your Financial Aid Study Year
  • Click on Submit

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is a government-run organization that reports to the Ministry of Higher Education and Training. NSFAS offers financial aid in the form of a research bursary to qualified students who choose to or are already enrolled in TVET colleges or public Universities. NSFAS Status TUT 2024-2025

WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE NSFAS BURSARY 2024

If you are a South African citizen preparing to graduate in 2024 or currently studying at a public university or TVET college and meet the following conditions, you are eligible for an NSFAS bursary:

  • If you are SASSA grant recipients
  • If the combination of your household income is not more than R350 000 in a year
  • A person with a disability with a combined household income of not more than R600 000 per year or
  • Students who began their university studies before 2024 and whose household income is not more than R122 000 per year. NSFAS Status TUT 2022-2023

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE APPLICATION PROCESS

NSFAS will require more information from you to process your 2022 application, check what supporting documents are needed and make sure that you have all the important information.

All applicants are required to provide the following to complete your NSFAS Application 2022:

  • Your own cellphone number and email address
  • Copy of your ID or birth certificate
  • ID copies of parents, guardians or spouse
  • Your proof of income or 1 year’s IRP5 (if applicable)
  • Your parents, guardian or spouse’s proof of income
  • If you are a SASSA grant recipient, no proof of income will be required

  • An applicant who is recognised as a Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development must provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form, click here to download.
