How Do I Apply for NSFAS Online 2024-2025

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme, NSFAS Online Application for the 2024- 2025 Academic year is open from 28 September 2023 to 31 January 2024. Applicants who need financial support for their University or College studies must visit the NSFAS Application 2024 portal at my.nsfas.org.za and submit an online application before the closing date or deadline. How to Apply for NSFAS Online 2024-2025

NSFAS Online Application 2024-2025 is very simple, easy and accurate. All current NSFAS beneficiaries are required to create an account on the new platform. Follow the steps below to apply

Go to NSFAS website: www.nsfas.org.za
Click on myNSFAS tab at the top right menu of the page
The Application window opens at my.nsfas.org.za
Then, create a new NSFAS account with your email address and ID number and cellphone number
After that, use your NSFAS account details for the application process
Click on the “Apply” tab
Enter the required details in the space provided
Upload the necessary documents
Confirm if the details and documents uploaded are correct
Then, click on the “Submit” button and send your application for review

Once the student clicks on “Submit” the application will be submitted successfully.

Document Needed for NSFAS Application 2024-2025

All applicants must provide the following supporting documents for NSFAS online application for the 2023-2024 academic year.

You must have your own cellphone number and email address
Copy of your ID or birth certificate
ID copies of parents, guardians or spouse (If applicable)
Your proof of income or 1 year’s IRP5 (if applicable)
Your parents, guardian or spouse’s proof of income
If you are a SASSA grant recipient, no proof of income will be required
The disability must submit a completed and signed Disability Annexure A Form
Vulnerable Child by the Department of Social Development must provide a completed and signed Vulnerable Child Declaration and Consent Form
