Lephalale TVET College Online Registration 2024-2025

Lephalale TVET College Online Registration Procedure 2024-2025

• Go to the official website of Capricorn TVET College at https://leptvetcol.edu.za/
• Navigate to the student portal and Click on ” Register”
• Sign into the student portal with your credentials; student number and password
• Complete the online registration form with the required information which includes, personal details, Qualification and courses you wish to register.
• Select your prefered courses and modules
• Upload certified copies of required supporting documents
• Make payment of your registration fee (if applicable)
• Click on”Submit” to Register for your courses for the next academic year

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION OF DIPLOMA

• Completed and signed application form
• Certified copy of ID
• Certified copies of N4-N6 certificates
• Logbook signed by employer
• Engineering: Certified copy of Trade Test or original detailed letter from employer that proves that you have 24 months experiential learning in the same field – meaning that the working experience should be in line with the theory that you have learned from N4-N6.
• Business: Original detailed letter from employer that proves that you have 18 months experiential learning in the same field – meaning that the working experience should be in line with the theory that you have learned from N4-N6.
• Educare: POE file

THE QUALIFICATION
Learners need one of the following:

• A National Senior Certificate.
• A Senior Certificate.
• An FETC.
  An N3 in the relevant specialization area. It is assumed that learners are competent in:
• Communication at NQF Level 4 in the language of teaching and learning of the institution offering the qualification.
• The theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for the specialisation at NQF Level 4 or N3 Level.

To be awarded the qualification, learners are to choose an area of specialisation and complete:

A. In the case of N courses of 0.5 years duration (Business Studies):

• N4 (0.5 year duration), 60 credits.
• N5 (0.5 year duration), 60 credits.
• N6 (0.5 year duration), 60 credits.
• 18 months Practical Experience, 180 credits.

B. In the case of N courses of 0.33 years duration (Engineering Studies):

• N4 (0.33 year duration), 40 credits.
• N5 (0.33 year duration), 40 credits.
• N6 (0.33 year duration), 40 credits.
• 24 months Practical Experience, 240 credits.
